Our programs are funded from our thrift shop proceeds, individual donations, fundraisers, and generous grants. We serve more than 16,500 members of our community each year. Our By the Numbers page shows how we do it all.
Viva Pima! Support
Viva Pima! Support joins the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA), Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona and Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse to respond to the needs of victims of domestic and sexual assault in our community.
Viva Pima! Books
Since 2002, Viva Pima! Books has worked with Tucson Title 1 schools to provide their libraries and the classrooms with books they need to support their classes.
Viva Pima! Kids
Since 1994 Viva Pima! Kids has provided children in need in Tucson with appropriate clothing to encourage regular school attendance and increase self-esteem.
Viva Pima! Supplies
People who have left shelters or abusive home situations are given kits of basic household supplies so they can live independently again with hope and dignity.
Viva Pima! Bears
Since 1989, Viva Pima! Bears has provided child-safe, cuddly teddy bears to children in emotional or physical crisis.
Toiletries for Tucson Students
Students in the Tucson Unified School District are provided basic grooming and hygiene products through the district pantries.
Viva Pima! Recycle
Reduce – Reuse – Recycle If we cannot sell donated items in our Thrift Shop, we find an organization that can use the items.
Viva Pima! Teens opens up opportunities for young men and women in high school to develop leadership skills, to learn about other non-profits in the Tucson community, and to gain a sense of civic responsibility. Participation begins in ninth grade.
