Assistance League Thrift Shop sells quality, gently used and new merchandise to provide funding for our programs. Local retailers such as Maya Palace, Big Lots and Copenhagen donate new merchandise to the shop.
In 1968, Assistance League opened a small gift shop to help fund our first philanthropic program. As our philanthropic programs have grown, the shop has evolved into a major source of funding for our expanded services. Proceeds from our Thrift Shop sales now provide almost half the funding for our programs.
Donations can be dropped off at the rear of the Thrift Shop building. Items accepted for resale include adults’ and children’s clothing, furniture, household items, sports equipment, antiques, collectibles, linens, small appliances, jewelry, books, toys, tools and seasonal items.
All donations are tax deductible and sincerely appreciated. Pick-up services are available for large items. Please call Assistance League Thrift Shop at 520-326-8452 for more information.
