Hand needle-turn applique and hand-quilted vine and leaf quilt. Exquisite example of out-standing applique technique, curves are smooth and flat, stitches small and even. Color choices for the leaves are excellent. Notice the corner areas where the same fabric is used for multiple leaves giving the eye a “place to rest”. Also note the occasional ‘quilted only’ leaf adding interest. Off-white background and 2 mint green borders with neutral binding that tones with the main complete this beautiful quilt.
