Beautiful 1800-1890s chiming mantle clock with movement by French clock maker, Marti et Cie. Movement has open escapement with fine etchings on brass behind the hour and minute hands.
The base is made of stone (marble, or slate). Weight is 35 pounds.
Nice sounding bell chime.
The clock runs and chimes, but should have movement cleaned and beat adjustment.
Original winding key included.
