A newsletter is sent out to the Tucson Community twice a year, in the spring and in the fall, with a letter from our President and recognition of our sponsors and donors. A donation envelope is included.
This mailer invites addressees to contribute to our Operation School Bell program. There are many ways to make a difference: outfit one child, provide 12 backpacks or 12 school supply kits, give a dozen children properly fitting shoes, keep 12 children warm by donating funds for jackets, or dress 7 children.
This is a donation request letter sent out in the fall written by our President explaining who we are and our goals for the year. Enclosed with the letter is a return envelope with different levels of giving.
This is a campaign to raise money to supply Teddy bears to children in crisis through responding agencies. A letter is sent out in the spring written by the P.A.W.S. Chairman. Enclosed with the letter is a return envelope specifying different levels of giving such A Box of Bears for $75.
Your employer may offer additional ways to contribute.
Many employers offer to match any funds you donate to qualified charities. Please ask if Assistance League of Tucson is on their list for matching funds.
Do you give to United Way at work? You can designate Assistance League of Tucson to receive your United Way donation.

Assistance League of Tucson is a 501(c)(3) charity, so your donation may qualify for a Federal Tax Credit.
Under the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes Section 43-1088, an individual can make a contribution of up to $200 and a couple can make a contribution of up to $400 to Assistance League of Tucson and receive a tax credit for the amount of the donation on the Arizona return.
